Is Fat Possum Records the most important label operating today?
Based on the success and influence of such albums as Who's Next, My Generation and Quadrophenia are The Who the best R&B based Rock and Roll band of all time? I think they might be.
In my opinion, DJ Shadow does not have the following he deserves. Endtroducing is a masterpiece. Private Press lacks the impact of Endro but it's still good. Support true Hip Hop culture. Buy anything by Blackalicious while you're at it. "Make you Feel That Way" is one of the best songs I've ever heard.
If you can think of three reasons why MC5 was not a vital band, keep them to yourself please.
